CFTS PRESENTS: “Meditation & Prana”

One-Day Workshop
Saturday 21st July 2007
10 am – 5 pm

Presented by: Padma Prakasha

OVERVIEW:
This workshop will explore the sacred knowledge of the meditation and pranic energy. Meditation is seventh step in yoga system. Meditation is an advanced state of concentration in which one single object of concentration flows without interruption. In this state, the mind becomes fully one pointed, and this one pointed ness starts expanding in to a superconscious state. Ultimately there comes a state of SAMADHI, state of complete spiritual absorption, at last the mind ultimately merges with the ocean of Supreme Consciousness. It is a state when individual consciousness expands to its fullest capacity where concept of birth and death completely dissolves. Through proper understanding and through incorporating the techniques of meditation one can attain success in his quest.
Meditation and Prana are closely linked as mind and meditation are. Prana, literally means flow of life. Thus, prana is a life sustaining electromotive force. That life force is also the link between the body and mind, and its grossest manifestation is the breath. All physical phenomena reflect on the breath and, through the breath, on the mind. Likewise, all mental phenomena reflect on the breath and, through the breath, on the body. Therefore, breath plays a vital role in the interaction of body and mind and their functioning’s vitalized by Prana. Breath is, therefore, considered to be the key for unlocking the secrets of the body and mind for opening the final gate to go beyond all the mental states.

Esoteric Knowledge of Meditation & Prana can be of immeasurable help in bringing the change in the quality of life. Soon, doing less and accomplishing more becomes a way of life.
